The Director of Business Development’s primary focus will generating incremental new business opportunities for Elite SEM through their industry network. This person should have standing relationships & developed rapport with Digital Marketing decision-makers with titles such as CMO, Director/VP of Digital Marketing/Online Marketing/eCommerce/Online Acquisition. Therefore, prior positions having had to interact with people in these positions is a must; however, experience selling to these contacts is not necessarily required. If not previously in Sales, other past titles we are considering for this position include Director of Paid Search, Director of Display, Director of Paid Social, etc. In addition to industry contacts, this person must be willing to travel to industry events & tradeshows with the goal of generating new relationships. Finally, they will be responsible for facilitating the sale from lead to close, following Elite SEM’s sales process. This person will report to the VP of Client Services.
